I've ordered several. Most of the info. is just a repeat of the short profiles posted here. But, there is info. even just a little about the extended family and a little bit more about the donor-I wouldn't expect big insights or anything personal at all. I guess since I want my child to know all I can give them when they are older I invested the $25. Also, if you have your heart set on certain physical characteristics it it nice to see if the donor is the odd one out that has let's say black hair or brown eyes or if parents and grandparents do too. I think NW pretty much weeds out donors with family histories of most diseases. Some women wait for the BFP to invest the $25. Good Luck on your decision-it was hard for me but some just know what they want!
i dont know if the long profiles have changed - but the ones i got also had a section that had kind of like essay questions - what is yur favorite childhood memory? favorite subject in school? least favorite subject in school? things like that
the one from my donor didnt have a ton of info in it, but i enjoyed reading the bits he did fill out. ![]()
Thanks, I was hoping for a bit more insight into family medical history and personality of the donor.
OldMama. do they include physical descriptions of the donors family too?
Amy, I love your definition of a boy, sounds just like my son LOL
KNS--the ones I went back and reviewed had height, weight, skin tone, hair and eye color, age if still living or age at death/cause of death.
Thanks for checking that Old Mama!
