So this is how it starts: My name is christina im 30years old...I have 3 children from a previous marriage. My husbands name is Jim he is 50 years old. He has 2 children from a previous marriage. We have been married for 15 months. We started ttc in November We did several cycles with BFN untill NOW! First cycle in novem 3 vials of ici, In December 6 vials of ici Jan we took off.
HERE GOES:
February 9 (cd 17) wake up and pee @ 5am OPK -
@ 8am after 3 cups of coffee and surfing the internet had to pee GOT + opk and smiley face
that is 3 hours after -opk and fully diluted urine!
Take picture and send it to hubby at work...Tell him to get home NOW......Getting things set up for insimination.....
Hubby gets home and takes out 1st vial WE USED IUI FORMAT (FIRST TIME HAVE BEEN USING ICI ) Let it sit out and defrost on counter 5 min......THen hubby squized it in his hand for 15 min to warm it up to body temp. Drew up some air in syringe and sucked up the swimmers...
Laid on back with pillow prop. I inserted 2 fingers to feel for cervix ...Put fingers on both sides of cervix...Hubby put cath inbetween 2 fingers and slid it in.....I directed the cath up inside with the 2 inserted fingers put cath near hole of cervix and held syringe still while I pulled fingers out....Then hubby started pushing it in slowly....Took about 45 seconds doing that. Put in a movie and hubby went to work. I laid with hips up 2 hours. Got up had to pee real bad... Then took a nap for couple of hours lying on both sides of my body.....Kidos came home at 4 pm...so got up and did homework, cooked dinner......ect ect...
@9pm (still cd 17) We did our last vial of IUI same way except this time I went to sleep all night....Got up next moring Temp DROPED!!! I had ovulated.....
SO:( 2 IUI ) First one 1 hour past Very FIRST + OPK , and second 11 hours past +OPK Results are : BFP on day 11
