Long Time No See!!

It is so good to see so many old faces on here. I have gotten so caught up in life and the craziness that I havent visited here in a LONG time It was such a thrill to get on and see all the familiar faces and see the kids grown up and the new additions! Congrats to everyone on the little ones... they all look gorgeous!! Our little one is getting sooo BIG! He is quite the handful. Walking around everywhere and getting into trouble. Talks a little but his favorite word is "Hi" He will attempt to have a whole conversation with you using only that word. LOL He is very silly.... likes to ignore you on purpose when you tell him not to do somethin, cries at the end of the pudding cup and has 5 total teeth. I attached some pictures to share. Hope you enjoy them, I sure did enjoy seeing all yours. I will try and get on more often we were thinking of maybe TTC one more time in beginning to middle of next year. No for sure plans yet though!

my daughter was fussy aaaaaaall day yesterday. we had a big day at the hiking trails and then a stop at target, so i put it down to just pure exhaustion on her part. i recently bought some cheapie diapers to see if they'd fit her better than huggies, and she pooped out the back of them yesterday afternoon. i put it down to the fact that the diapers are cheap. i've been putting her in the pampers with dry max only at night to keep her from peeing through gowns and pajamas and crib sheets all night. well, this morning she pooped out the back of her pampers. it was halfway up her back.

my question is how can you tell if your breastfed baby is sick with a stomach bug, or just having a bm blowout? her stools yesterday and today were maybe just slightly more loose than her normal loose breastfed stools (of course, i might just be imagining that because i'm worried) and she's been really cranky. she wakes up crying, but then again, i'm holding her off now for two hours between feedings, so she's been crankier lately, too. she's used to nursing on demand. she's not running a temperature, and she's not spitting up. i don't want to call her pediatrician yet AGAIN, because the last time i called they acted like i was an idiot for asking the question i asked.

Just feeling extremely lucky this week to have a healthy happy little girl and praying that she stays happy and healthy.

There is a little girl who just turned 4 in August who has been given 4 weeks to live. Yesterday they said 4-8 but today it changed after her MRI. This little girl was diagnosed with brain cancer (I can't even begin to spell the medical term) when she was just 20 months old. This week they discovered that is has continued to spread and is now surrounding her spine and has spread through other parts of her brain. It's the beginning of the end for her. She has just been through so much in her short time here on earth. My heart aches for her family. Such a brave little girl and I am just hope she finds peace soon.
I just cannot imagine what they are going through.

It just reminds me to appreciate the gift that I have in Lauren.

I wasn't sure if I could order there if I don't have a blog. I was trying to comment but had no success, but I want a bag of apple scent! Is there another way to place my order? Also I have a friend who wants to order too how can she do this? ' ......

I would like to respond here. I appreciate your support in our adoption fundraiser and appreciate your love of candle Tarts as well. They are yummy aren't they. I am making a batch this week for our home- and to get some photos of the tarts up on my site as well.

Okay- yes! of course you can order if you dont have a blog. yes indeed. anyone can order. i only mentioned that i would link to the blogs of those who ordered if they have a blog as appreciation for their support (to increase traffic to their blog) . but thank you for bringing that to my attention, i may need to explain that better in my blog.

You should be able to leave a comment. Was it not allowing you to ? I have it set to allow anyone to comment. Go see & try it again.

It is my HomeTarts blog.

Now , you and your friend (you mentioned she would like to order as well) just go to HomeTarts (url below in siggy) and click on the tab that says 'place an order'.
it will take you to a blog post ; just leave your name and order (scent you want, how many bags) within your comment. That's it !

I check it daily and update the list of names as they come in. You will be able to see your order in my updated list. and as mentioned payment is not due yet. i will have my donate button up Oct 1st as the tool for payment at that time before Tarts ship.

Thats all you need to do. Leave a comment with your info. And then I will add you to the order list.

Let me know if you have problems getting into the comment section. Remember now- it is my HomeTarts blog not my Wildflowers blog.

I'm looking for any ideas for our soon to be 2 yr old and our 7 yr old for christmas. I'd like something fun and something educational for the both of them. Tae loves babies, but has more than her fair share of them. Trey isn't really into anything, he just likes getting things not necessarily playing with them. He does like craft project kits, but I can't seem to find anything new and not crap. He is not very "boy" and doesn't care for cars or guns or anything traditional boy....any help would me more than appreciated!

So, have any of you found out that your child has a donor sibling? How did you feel about it? Obviously we know that it was possible for her donor to create other children but we found one on the DSR last night. It's a boy, born just days before Lauren. I feel weird about it. I didn't think it would matter but it's just weird. I am not sure if I want to contact them or not.
What do you guys think/feel about it?

For those of you who are in Florida, and those of you who aren't - but are looking for a reason to visit, please feel free to join us in Orlando for Lilianna's birthday. We're planning to stay at one of the three resorts connected to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. They are all VERY kid friendly and have large beach-entry pools (with sand, even). We will celebrate at the hotel during the day and then once the sun goes down the adults will drink, dance, and be merry in the City Walk area. http://www.universalorlando.com/Overvie … rview.aspx

There is a free boat the runs from all three hotels to the theme parks (think .... no parking hassles and no drinking and driving ; ) , and both parks have lots of stuff for little ones (including a whole area dedicated to Dr Suess).
The photographer (a college student) that did Lilianna's 6-month pics will be there (at the hotel ..... it's a GORGEOUS property), and if you are interested in her services I will gladly put you in touch with her. Her rates are great.
Also, if you're interested, I can have one of Lilianna's teachers provide babysitting service at the hotel while the adults go out for the night (and it would probably even be the photographer, who is also one of Lilianna's teachers).

The date is set for early October, but for further details please reach out to me via an NW email or Facebook.
It could be a super-fun "get together".

I've read about alternating motrin and tylenol but I don't understand the dosing. Do you give tylenol then 4 hrs later give motrin then 4 he's later tylenol again? Also the motrin says not to start giving it until he's 6 months old...do we really have to suffer another 10 days or could w start it now? Thank you.

I honestly feel like I won the lottery.

After I had a complicated miscarriage (blood transfusions, surgery, several days in the hospital...ugh) my luck with TTC seemed to be at an all-time low. And to make matters worse, I ran out of the vials from the donor that would've enabled me to have a full-sibling to my kiddos. The doctor I was working with discovered I had cysts on my ovaries and wanted me to try clomid...FOR A YEAR. She either doesn't know or care how fast the costs add up doing it with donor swimmers. Miraculously, somebody sold back vials of my original donor and I became the elated new "owner." After a couple months with no luck (and extreme crankiness on clomid), I decide to take the summer off to think about something other than TTC and just enjoy my family.

The lottery began when I was able to buy more vials of my original donor. I won the lottery in August. If my luck continues to hold out this time, I am due May 10, 2011.

I am not letting many people in on my secret. I was nearly out of the "danger zone" (first trimester) when I miscarried last time. I am hoping AND PRAYING that things will go better this time. I figure that I can put in a little extra message on my Christmas cards and let people in on my miracle at that time.

It's hard to let myself feel the excitement. I am mostly scared to let myself want it too badly. But, at this moment, I am giddy with joy. It worked. Finally!!!!!
