Import Donor Listing
We are happy to make available to our clients the following donors that have been imported. These Scandinavian donors were recruited and processed by a Northern European bank that was bought out by another facility. The information available on these donors differs a bit from what we normally offer on our donors, and so this separate listing. There are both ICI and IUI units available as this listing was made. These specimens were frozen in straws as opposed to our vial format. Price for these units are a bit more than ours because of the costs involved with purchase and importation. Introductory pricing is $300 each for individual units, or combination of units providing motile counts of 20 million or above.
Should this prove popular, we will consider importation of additional specimens of the same or other donors currently available, but we are unable to guarantee additional inventory. Please check lower portion of this webpage for special forms needed to use these donors.

The bank of origin did not freeze donors to the same unit standard that we provide for, but it's great sperm and we've reviewed the video logs of the frozen-thawed specimens. We can provide one or more units to meet or exceed our banks minimum count of 20 million. Many units exceed that count. The donor relevant disease list and screening were the same as ours. The donor quarantine period of six months for retesting was exactly the same as our US requirements. The donors and their histories were reviewed by a physician and we have copies of the original donor screening and physician signatures. The translated and reproduced histories are available by utilizing the links provided in the donor descriptions above.
Cystic Fibrosis carrier screening was not quite as overly extensive as the test offered by NW Andrology & Cryobank, however it is better than what many US banks use. It was run through TDL genetics in London. CF screening for these donors covers 33 mutations, and reduces the risk of a donor being a carrier from 1 in 20 to approximately 1 in 200. The testing repertoire was altered and expanded in line with the population wide screening for CF mutations published by the American College of Medical Genetics (ACMG).
